Our founder guest at Gianluca Capone's talk (Livello Digitale): TraderBrick as a practical case of AI applied to SaaS

Our founder Ivan Laffranchi was a guest at the talk by Gianluca Capone, within the format Livello Digitale, to discuss a concrete case of using Artificial Intelligence in the development of a digital product.

At the center of the meeting was TraderBrick: a SaaS platform for real estate flipping, designed and released from idea to go-live in just 90 days, thanks to a strategic use of AI throughout all phases of the project.

TraderBrick: a project born to solve real problems

TraderBrick was born from a very clear need: to help investors and real estate operators make quick, data-driven decisions, reducing errors, inefficiencies, and loss of margins.

From the very beginning, the platform was designed to support the key phases of a flipping operation:

• investment evaluation
• advanced ROI and margin calculation
• management of estimated costs vs actual costs
• monitoring of operational phases through kanban-type workflows

With a natively multilingual and multi-currency setup, designed for international use and not limited to the Italian market.

AI as an accelerator, not a shortcut

One of the central messages of the talk was clear:

Artificial Intelligence is not just a tool for “creating content”, but a true development accelerator.

In the case of TraderBrick, AI enabled:

• drastically reducing design times
• simplifying complexity management
• quickly covering phases that, in a traditional scenario, would have required larger teams and months of work

The result is a complete platform, already operational, with integrated AI components to analyze projects and suggest optimizations.

From idea to release: an orchestrated journey

During the interview, Ivan explained step by step how various AI tools were orchestrated to cover all critical phases of the product:

• idea validation
• naming and positioning (with practical implications for domain and brand)
• design of the UI (user interface and user experience)
• software development assisted by AI
• creation of multilingual assets and content

AI did not replace design thinking, but enhanced it, allowing for strategic control while reducing execution times.

The key message: the competitive advantage is already here

The point that strongly emerges from the talk is simple:

The competitive advantage of Artificial Intelligence is not the future, it is not theory, and it is not marketing.

It consists of:

• time saved
• reduced complexity
• greater decision-making speed

With one fundamental condition: do not delegate your thinking.

As explained during the interview, AI is like an accelerator on a construction site: it can lay bricks much faster, but a good project is still needed.
